What is the Mercedes servicing schedule?
Mercedes cars produced between 1997 and 2007 have service assist. This means the cars will either have an A or B service, the interval for this can vary but will be roughly 10,000 to 15,000 miles or 18 to 24 months. The service assist system will tell you which service is due approximately 1,000 miles or 30 days before.
Mercedes Benz cars produced after 2007 have fixed interval servicing. The services now revert to the Major and Minor services but will be done roughly every 10,000 miles or 12 months. The car still has a reminder to tell you when it is due.
In September 2009, Mercedes Benz stopped issuing its cars with printed service books, opting instead for an online Digital Service Book system to keep track of the repairs your car has had. At Star Tech, we are able to fully update this system each time we carry out any service work making sure the history of your car is fully accurate, up-to-date and documented.
